At Dekaki General Traders, we deliver your orders safely and reliably across Kenya. This Shipping Policy explains our delivery process, timelines, and shipping fees.

2. Service Area

We deliver within Kenya only. We do not offer international shipping or deliver outside Kenyan borders.

We serve all counties and regions within Kenya.

3. Handling Time (Days)

Minimum: 1 day

Maximum: 1 day

Fulfilled: Monday – Saturday

Handling time is the time between when an order is placed and when it is ready to be shipped (handed off to the carrier). Orders placed before the daily cut-off time (7:00 PM EAT) are typically ready the same day. Orders placed after the cut-off time are processed the next business day.

4. Transit Time (Days)

All destinations: Monday – Saturday

Minimum: 2 days

Maximum: 6 days

Transit time is the estimated duration it takes the carrier to deliver your order to your location.

5. Total Delivery Time

Estimated delivery time = Handling Time + Transit Time

All destinations: 3-7 business days

6. Shipping Fees

We offer flat rate shipping of KES 500 to all locations in Kenya.

Shipping fees are clearly displayed during checkout with no hidden costs.

7. Order Tracking

Once your order ships:

  • You'll receive tracking information via email or SMS
  • You can track your package using the provided tracking number
  • For tracking assistance, contact our customer service team

8. Delivery Partners

We partner with reliable courier services to ensure your orders arrive safely. Our primary courier partner is G4S Kenya.

Upon delivery:

  • Please inspect packages before signing
  • Report any visible damage to the delivery agent immediately
  • Ensure someone is available to receive the package

9. Failed Deliveries

If delivery attempts fail due to:

  • Incorrect address: Contact us immediately to update details
  • Recipient unavailable: Courier will attempt re-delivery
  • Returned packages: May incur additional shipping fees for re-delivery

10. Damaged or Lost Packages

We take care in packaging your items securely. However:

  • Report damaged packages within 24 hours of receipt
  • Contact us immediately for lost package investigations
  • We work with courier partners to resolve issues promptly

11. Order Changes & Cancellations

Orders can be modified or canceled before shipment processing begins.
